In the future, WWISA, through its members, will influence our customers, academia, research, industry, government, the media, and fellow professionals through the advocacy of this new paradigm in software construction. Founding Member – During WWISA's early years, we must strongly rely on the insight and wisdom of our members to be successful in establishing a software architecture profession. Members who notably  contribute to that objective will be awarded the membership level of Founding Member and the privilege of using the Credential credential for as long as they are members. To become a Founding Member, join under one of the following membership options and begin to contribute.

Practicing Member – This membership option is for those who have been performing the role of software architect for at least three years on at least two projects.

Associate Member – This level is for those not presently at the Practicing Member level but may be performing some or all aspects of the role of software architect or desire to become a software architect.

Academic Member – This designation is for either a professor or student of any courses related to information technology or managing information technology.

Practice/Corporate Member – This level is for a practice or company providing software architecture, software design or information technology services.

Client Member – This membership level is for clients and employers of software architects, such as a Chief Information Officer or Chief Technology Officer.
