Unisys is seeking a Senior Systems Architect to work on a project based out of Reston, VA. Active Secret Security Clearance is required. (If you have held a Secret clearance within the last two years, reactivating the clearance is a possibility.) The work is on the Total Asset Visibility Operational Prototype (TAVOP) Contract, sponsored by the U.S. Army Logistics Integration Agency (LIA). The contract is working to integrate Automatic Identification Technology (AIT) to increase Total Asset Visibility (TAV) of logistics assets. The development work involves a relational database which will support collection, storage and access of logistics information. This project is using the latest "cutting edge" technologies. Highly desirable work atmoshere. Travel is estimated at 15-25%.

Candidates must meet strict criteria. Minimum Requirements: BS/BA degree with 10 years experience MA/MA degree with 8 years experience PhD degree with 6 years experience no degree with 13 years experience Knowledge of Java, Visual Basic, C++ and Oracle are needed. Strong Java skills are critical. ODBC, Delphi are preferred. Duties: Establish system information requirements, Design architecture-sw, hw, communications OSI, ISO, IEEE, OSE compliance TAFIM Structured analysis, design methodologies, design tools. Experience with logical and physical functional, operational, and technical architecture of large and complex information systems.
